Salary: $72,000 per year

Job Description:
We are seeking a Positive Behavior Support Specialist to conduct individualized functional behavior assessments and collaborate with individuals to develop and monitor person-centered, positive behavior support plans. You will work directly with staff and caregivers to implement strategies, evaluate their effectiveness, and adjust plans as needed. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by enhancing the quality of care for those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Behavior Assessment: Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the root causes of challenging behaviors.
2. Support Plans: Develop, implement, and monitor behavior support plans tailored to individual needs.
3. Training & Collaboration: Provide instructional learning to staff and caregivers to ensure consistent service delivery.
4. Plan Evaluation & Modification: Regularly assess the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans as needed.
5. Team Development: Supervise and train other positive support analysts and specialists.

Requirements:
Candidates must meet at least one of the following education and licensing requirements:
1. Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, nursing, or a related field;
2. Ph.D. in behavioral sciences;
3. At least 4,000 hours of post-master's clinical experience;
4. Active license in psychology, social work, counseling, or nursing under relevant Minnesota statutes.

Additional skills required include expertise in person-centered, positive behavior support strategies, strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, and a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
