Job Summary

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Support Specialist, Entry-Level to join our team. As a Finance Support Specialist, you will provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders, resolving issues and answering questions related to finance and business processes. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in finance and customer service, working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide best-in-class customer support, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Utilize Salesforce to create and respond to cases, gathering information and documentation to support functional specialists in providing further support.
Engage in root cause analysis to effectively identify the nature and urgency of customer issues, leveraging knowledgebase documentation and self-help resources to provide consistent and timely support.
Collaborate with team members and the User Success Manager to improve stakeholder service, identifying opportunities to develop or improve tier 1 knowledge articles and self-help resources.

Requirements

High school diploma required, with no prior experience necessary.
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse body of stakeholders, articulating complex policies and procedures in a clear and concise manner.
Basic experience with computing software and systems, with a positive, team-oriented approach to service delivery.
Commitment to continuous improvement, with a willingness to develop skills and knowledge within Salesforce and the Commonwealth of Virginia's finance department.
