Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at MaineHealth. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for preparing and performing all nuclear diagnostic studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and perform nuclear diagnostic studies using various equipment and technologies.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment in the nuclear medicine lab, adhering to high standards of patient care and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology program required.
- Licensure/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Radiologic Technologist. Must be credentialed by either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). BLS certification is also required.
- Experience: One year of experience in Nuclear Medicine is preferred, with basic IV skills being advantageous.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
