About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Employee Relations Expert Lead to join our team at Development InfoStructure. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and maintaining a positive and productive workplace culture.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in employee relations, leadership experience, and a strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA). You will lead strategic efforts to align employee relations strategies with organizational objectives, ensure compliance with employment laws, and foster an environment of trust and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations Strategy
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of organization-wide employee relations strategies and initiatives to promote employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Senior Advisory Role
  • Serve as the senior advisor to executive leadership on complex employee relations issues, providing data-driven recommendations and solutions.
  • Grievance Resolution
  • Lead the resolution of high-level employee grievances, workplace conflicts, and disciplinary actions while ensuring fairness and consistency.
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Establish and refine policies, procedures, and programs to support DEIA goals and ensure legal compliance.
  • Trend Analysis and Monitoring
  • Monitor and analyze trends in employee relations metrics to identify potential risks and proactively address workplace concerns.
  • Training and Development
  • Oversee the design and delivery of training programs for managers and employees on topics such as conflict resolution, leadership development, and organizational policies.
  • Compliance and Liaison
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and serve as a key liaison with legal counsel for employee-related matters.
  • Team Leadership
  • Build and lead a high-performing employee relations team, providing mentorship, strategic direction, and professional development opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with HR, legal, and compliance teams to address employee relations challenges and align them with organizational goals.

Required Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in human resources, with a significant focus on employee relations.
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role managing employee relations teams.
  • A proven ability to lead and resolve complex workplace investigations and disputes.
  • Deep knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and implementing DEIA-focused programs.
  • Previous experience working as a contractor or direct hire at USAID.
  • Experience hiring, managing, or working with Personal Services Contractors (PSCs).
  • Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications, Microsoft Office 365.
  • Able to obtain a public trust or greater clearance.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year
