**Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in overseeing the day-to-day activities at our manufacturing facilities. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving production, quality, safety, and continuous improvement goals.

 

**Responsibilities:**

  • Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all OMG employees
  • Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean Manufacturing, providing direction and support to CI Teams to exceed goals
  • Review production requirements and adjust work schedules to meet objectives
  • Develop new, and track existing, cost savings and productivity improvement initiatives
  • Effectively manage shift workers, including hiring, training, employee development, performance reviews, addressing disciplinary issues and resolving employee problems
  • Develop the bench strength for our manufacturing teams
  • Communicate and implement company initiatives and policy
  • Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and work with Quality resources to address variations
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
  • Develop metrics to improve daily and weekly efficiency, tracking performance through trending analyses

 

**Requirements:**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred)
  • 5+ years' management or supervisory experience
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Experience implementing lean manufacturing processes
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and mathematical skills
  • Self-starter with desire and willingness to institute change
  • Capable of overcoming obstacles and completing assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to motivate individuals and teams to perform at high levels to meet and exceed goals
  • Team-oriented approach with a desire to work in a hands-on leadership capacity

 

**Estimated Salary:** $65,000 - $85,000 per year
