Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Office, Power Automate, Windows, Intune, and other related components.
  • Oversee user accounts, permissions, and access management within the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Implement and manage security protocols, updates, and compliance within Microsoft 365.
  • Develop and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline department processes.
Network Management
  • Manage and maintain AVFRD's network infrastructure, focusing on Ubiquiti Unifi products.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable connectivity across all department locations.
  • Manage a variety of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) applications used within the department.
  • Implement system updates, backups, and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT systems management and a commitment to supporting the vital work of our fire and rescue team. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment are essential. Previous experience in a volunteer organization or non-profit environment is a plus.
