Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Physician & Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Recruiting to lead our recruitment team. This role is critical in ensuring that our healthcare organization attracts, hires, and retains top-tier physicians and APCs.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract high-quality physicians and APCs.
- Recruitment Process Management: Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
- Sourcing & Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with medical schools, residency programs, professional associations, and other key sources of physician and APC talent.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with department heads, hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in physician and APC recruitment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting and retaining physicians and APCs in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry trends, physician/APC workforce challenges, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
