About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology team at Providence Medical Foundation. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing primary and specialty care to patients in the obstetrics and gynecology department. This includes performing routine check-ups, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, ordering diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including well-woman exams, prenatal care, and postpartum care
  • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, such as infections, abnormalities, and other health issues
  • Order diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies, as needed
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Master's program in Nursing or related field
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an obstetrics and gynecology setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
