Mill Yard Switcher

We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Yard Jockey to join our team at Green Logistics. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled driver to work in a mill yard environment, moving empty and loaded trailers as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of yard operations and be able to perform periodic checks to ensure efficiency and safety. Our fleet consists of 2020 Ottawa Switchers with full-service maintenance contracts, providing a reliable and well-maintained equipment base.

As a Mill Yard Switcher, you will be responsible for working closely with other drivers and logistics teams to coordinate trailer movements and ensure smooth operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary range of $17-$19 per hour, with overtime pay at 1.5 times the regular rate.
