Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at InterMed, P.A. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology and excellent clinical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform health assessments, diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic injuries and illnesses
  • Promote health maintenance and wellness
  • Prescribe medication, order diagnostic tests, and perform minor in-office procedures
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and clinical support staff to provide high-quality patient care

Requirements

  • Successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner academic program
  • 2 or more years primary care experience preferred
  • Maintain current national certification by an accrediting body
  • Current licensure to practice in the state of Maine
  • Current DEA License, including Schedule II Privileges
  • Current BLS certification
