About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Taxation Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a Taxation Manager, you will be responsible for advising clients on a full spectrum of corporate and individual tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and general mergers and acquisitions activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on tax planning, research, compliance, and mergers and acquisitions activities
  • Assist with new business development and extended service for existing clients
  • Develop, motivate, and train staff level team members
  • Manage corporate and individual client needs with respect to tax services and federal and state tax compliance
  • Develop and sustain strong client relationships
  • Stay up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
  • Oversee and review tax returns with the tax team
  • Provide timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Handle routine client tax questions and work with staff and seniors to ensure necessary information for tax return completion and compliance
  • Stay informed about firm capabilities other than tax compliance and promote these activities to clients when appropriate
  • Complete research and special projects as needed
  • Help develop senior and staff accountants both technically and professionally
Requirements

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to stay up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
