Neonatal Intensive Care Unit RN Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a NICU RN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to critically ill and premature infants.

Responsibilities:
- Care for infants during the transition to extrauterine life, requiring close monitoring and prompt intervention as needed
- Conduct regular assessments of vital signs and take corrective action when necessary
- Provide nutritional support and administer specialized feedings tailored to each infant's needs
- Perform various medical procedures, including changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs
- Deliver arterial and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment to ensure optimal functioning
Requirements:
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a NICU RN
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
- Capacity to lift 10-20 pounds of equipment
