Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist for Patient Care Enhancement to join our team in further developing our award-winning technological capabilities.

Job Summary

This role involves providing advanced data and analytical support to our health system, focusing on enhancing patient care through data-driven insights.

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing databases that promote efficient workflows and comply with regulatory specifications
  • Supporting data-driven performance improvement projects within the health system
  • Preparing reports and Tableau dashboards, presenting findings to system leaders and teams
  • Managing data-driven projects and assisting in identifying critical issues and developing solutions using PDCA and Lean methodologies
  • Collaborating effectively as part of a team while ensuring maximum utilization of technology to enhance work systems

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, business, computer science, mathematics, or a related quantitative analysis field, or equivalent experience
  • Advanced skills in Python, Tableau, SQL, R, Excel, SPSS, and PowerPoint
  • At least 2 years of experience in clinical data analytics, statistics, and quality measures
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in advanced analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent understanding of industry-specific issues, regulatory requirements, and current trends in the healthcare industry
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and creative environment

Preferred Qualifications

We also welcome applicants with:

  • MBA or Master's degree in quantitative analytical fields
  • Over 3 years of experience with Python, SQL, and Tableau
  • More than 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry
  • At least 1 year of experience in data science (AI/ML), data management, and analysis
  • Over 1 year of project management experience

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $115,000 - $145,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
