Landscaping Specialist

**Job Title:** Lawn Maintenance

**Company Overview:** Whisperwood Manufactured Home Community Inc is seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep, appearance, and functionality of outdoor spaces within our community.

**Salary:** Estimated $45,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience.

**Job Description:

• Landscaping and Gardening:
  • Mow, edge, and trim lawns, bushes, and trees.
  • Plant, weed, and water flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as needed.
• Maintenance and Repairs:
  • Maintain and repair irrigation systems.
  • Clean and maintain pathways, parking lots, and outdoor fixtures.
  • Remove debris, leaves, and litter from the grounds.
  • Perform minor repairs to fences, benches, and other outdoor structures.
• Seasonal Work:
  • Snow removal, salting walkways, and maintaining safe paths during winter.
  • Leaf raking and collection during the fall.
• Equipment Handling:
  • Operate and maintain groundskeeping tools such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and tractors.
  • Inspect and ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Report any hazards, damages, or necessary repairs promptly.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping tools, equipment, and techniques.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, bend, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
