We are seeking a highly skilled HRIS System Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at Eliassen Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead quality assurance activities across HR and corporate systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a test lead or management role. They will also have extensive experience with HR systems, such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and Oracle HCM, as well as corporate systems.

This is a challenging role that requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of functional and non-functional testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of system implementations, migrations, and integrations, driving test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting across multiple concurrent projects.

We offer a competitive salary of $47 - $52 per hour, commensurate with experience, as well as excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with company matching, and life insurance.

The successful candidate will also have excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and implementation of the overall test strategy, ensuring alignment with project goals and organizational objectives.
  • Define the testing scope, approach, resources, schedule, and deliverables for the project.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for HR and corporate systems, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with program managers, business analysts, system architects, and engineering leads to understand business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Identify test requirements from specifications, map test cases to requirements, and ensure coverage.
  • Lead the test execution process, coordinating efforts across multiple projects and teams.
  • Develop detailed test plans, including test cases, test scripts, and test data, to ensure comprehensive coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Oversee the execution of test plans, monitor test progress, and ensure adherence to established timelines and quality standards.
  • Drive the automation strategy and oversee the implementation of test automation frameworks and scripts.
  • Identify and manage testing risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating them as needed.
  • Monitor and track test progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Establish and manage a defect lifecycle, ensuring all issues are properly documented, prioritized, and resolved.
  • Understand the root cause of defects to identify trends and potential areas for improvement in processes and systems.
  • Ensure that all testing activities are documented and comply with program-level quality standards and policies.
