At Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Medical Screener to join our team at our Plasma Donor Center.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and quality, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

As a Medical Screener, you will be responsible for screening new and repeat donors, taking and recording donor vital signs and finger stick results, and using our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records.

You will also be responsible for coordinating donor compensation and identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen new and repeat donors
  • Take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results
  • Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate donor compensation
  • Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful
