Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist

As a Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist at Great River Health System, you will play a vital role in providing education, coaching, and exercise guidance to patients and their families regarding cardiac rehabilitation. This includes post-procedure and post-surgical recovery, as well as disease-specific symptoms and management. You will participate in projects related to your area of specialty and collaborate with other health professionals to promote the delivery of quality services and patient education within the organization and the community.
Responsibilities:
Provide education and coaching to patients and their families on cardiac rehabilitation, including post-procedure and post-surgical recovery, and disease-specific symptoms and management.
Participate in projects related to your area of specialty, such as developing and implementing treatment care plans, evaluating and implementing appropriate interventions, and maintaining medical records.
Collaborate with other health professionals to promote the delivery of quality services and patient education within the organization and the community.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current license as a registered nurse from the State of Iowa.
Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Current critical care/cardiology related experience within the past five (5) years preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years experience in pertinent clinical specialty preferred.
