Job Title: Medical Assistant w/NCRT

G&A Partners is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant with NCRT experience to join our team in Houston, TX.

Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing company, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our orthopedic team.

Responsibilities:
  • Escort patients to rooms in a professional and appropriate manner.
  • Work with physicians to document patient medical records, including history of present illness, vital signs, and other relevant information.
  • Complete orders for treatment prescribed by physicians, including prescriptions, lab requisitions, and surgery orders.
  • Prioritize work and anticipate the needs of physicians by gathering related records and reports.
  • Use safe injection practices and maintain a clean and sterile work environment.
  • Perform quality control checks and audits on radiologic equipment.
  • Download images to Efferent and send them to patients as requested.
  • Manage and schedule appointments, complete daily room stocking, and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three years medical office experience, preferably in orthopedics.
  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
  • NCRT Certification required.
  • High school or equivalent education.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and customer service skills.
