Admissions Nurse

At Bethesda Health, we're dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and creating a supportive work environment for our team members. As an Admissions Nurse, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a seamless transition for our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop individualized care plans
• Coordinate communication with families, nursing home staff, social workers, and other team members to ensure a smooth admission process
• Complete initial plans of care, including medication lists and physician orders, in our electronic medical record system
• Verify orders with physicians and ensure all necessary treatments and orders are in place
• Offer and administer immunizations as needed, and document patient immunization status
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current nursing license in good standing in the state of employment
• Minimum two years of experience as a professional nurse, preferably in a post-acute setting
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to assess and respond to patient needs
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients with weights up to [insert weight limit], using proper lifting techniques and seeking assistance when necessary
