About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Automation Systems Engineer to join our System Layout and Structural Engineering team within our Core Hardware Engineering organization. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership to AutoCAD Designers in the creation of complex steel structures as part of large-scale automation systems within customer Distribution Centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create large steel structure drawings and assembly layouts of advanced automation systems.
  • Exhibit solid working knowledge of AutoCAD tools and techniques such as Layers, External References, Dynamic Blocks and File Management.
  • Utilize your knowledge of structural steel components in the configuration and system release of large steel structures, including multi-disciplinary trades such as MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing).
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in designing projects involving structural steel. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, and experience in Material Handling and/or Automation Systems is highly desirable.

What We Offer

As a Warehouse Automation Systems Engineer at Symbotic, you can expect a competitive salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on your level of experience.
