Job Overview:

Soliant is seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead our team in providing exceptional support to students with disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs), developing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and training staff members on evidence-based strategies.

Salary: $50-$60 per hour

Job Description:

This leadership role involves working closely with school personnel, parents, and community agencies to ensure the unique needs of students are met. You will participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering valuable input on the development of goals and objectives related to behavior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Comprehensive FBAs: Identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors exhibited by students through thorough assessments.
  • Develop BIPs: Create personalized plans based on FBA findings, incorporating evidence-based strategies and techniques.
  • Train Staff Members: Provide ongoing support and training to ensure consistent and effective implementation of BIPs.
  • Evaluate Plan Effectiveness: Monitor and assess the impact of BIPs through systematic data collection and analysis.
  • Collaborate Across Environments: Work with schools, parents, and community agencies to ensure seamless transitions and consistent interventions.
  • Stay Current with Best Practices: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest research and methods in behavior analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Valid BCBA Credential: Possess a valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst credential.
  • Experience Working with Students: Previous experience working with students with disabilities and challenging behaviors in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State Laws: Display a strong understanding of federal and state laws related to special education and behavior management.
