About the Role

In this rewarding position as a Behavioral Technician II, you will have the opportunity to work with students at our specified location, providing essential services and support. Your primary goal will be to implement ABA programs and BIPs with fidelity, using appropriate behavior management techniques for students exhibiting severe challenging behavior.

Your key responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining relationships with students by pairing yourself as a supporting individual to build value and increase social interaction. You will also prompt safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills, fading prompts appropriately to promote successful and independent responding.

Additionally, you will increase the frequency and duration of safe and appropriate replacement behaviors by providing access to reinforcers, collect, record, graph, and maintain various program and behavioral data, including A-B-C, count, frequency, duration, latency, interresponse time, or event- and interval-based recording.

You will instruct, assist, and accompany students off campus as part of individual instructional programs, providing clear instruction, modeling, checking for understanding, guided and independent practice, feedback, and monitoring. You will also report observations on student progress, behavior, or instructional needs to the licensed behavior analyst and teacher and provide recommendations on follow-up activities.
