Job Overview:

As a PACU Nurse at Incredible Health, you will be part of a collaborative team that prioritizes patient-centered care and seamless transitions from the operating room to discharge. Your expertise in post-operative care will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality post-operative care to a diverse range of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs and managing symptoms of anesthesia
  • Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure smooth patient transition from the operating room to discharge
  • Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $48,290 and $96,520, depending on experience and qualifications.
