Job Title: Specimen Technician

Yoh is seeking a highly skilled Specimen Technician to join our team in a production environment. As a Specimen Technician, you will be responsible for general support functions within the Specimen Processing Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and speed, entering up to 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes per hour.
  • Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing, including centrifugation and aliquoting.
  • Work in a biohazard environment, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Adhere to core values, safety, and compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic understanding of computers and laboratory testing preferred.
  • No experience required, but previous laboratory experience is a plus.
  • Medical background with medical terminology applicable to a clinical laboratory is a plus.
