Job Summary

We are seeking a mid-level Antitrust Paralegal to provide organizational, file, and case management support for our antitrust practice group. This role involves assisting attorneys with large-scale litigation and merger reviews, working closely with clients and the legal team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with complex Hart-Scott-Rodino filings with U.S. and international authorities.
  • Prepare documents for production, including proofreading, Bates-labeling, redacting, and managing privileged documents.
  • Conduct factual investigations and research to support ongoing cases.
  • Participate in client and team meetings, providing valuable input as needed.
  • Act as a liaison with legal document processing vendors.
  • Organize and maintain large volumes of documents in electronic and hard copy formats.
  • Complete and submit filings to federal and state courts.
  • Monitor case dockets and communicate updates to the team.
  • Prepare witness binders, interview documents, and presentations for legal teams.
  • Maintain case chronologies and assist with training and development programs.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, including proofreading capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and results-oriented.
  • Familiarity with Hart-Scott-Rodino premerger notification filings is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint, iManage, or other document management systems.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Experience supporting the FTC's Bureau of Competition or the DOJ's Antitrust Division is preferred but not mandatory.

Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $133,750 (bonus eligible)

This position offers a hybrid schedule, requiring three days on-site each week in Washington, D.C., with additional days as needed. The work schedule is 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of antitrust experience. A bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is required.
