Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team for a travel assignment in Columbia, South Carolina.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Electrophysiology Technician to work in our Electrophysiology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrophysiology and cardiac cath lab procedures, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:- Perform electrophysiology procedures, including catheter ablations and pacemaker implantations
- Assist with cardiac cath lab procedures, including angiograms and coronary interventions
- Monitor and maintain equipment, including defibrillators and pacemakers
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately
- SC License
- 2 years EP or Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Successful completion of a health sciences program
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)
- Must have at least 1 year's experience with Epic EMR
- Minimum 1 year of scrub experience
- BCLS
- ARRT with corresponding sub-certification
- SCRQSA
