About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on the Med Surg unit at Mass General Brigham.

As a Senior Healthcare Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional care to patients with a diverse range of medical needs, utilizing your clinical expertise and critical thinking skills to inform decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing various procedures, and coordinating discharge plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to each patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to established protocols, reporting concerns, and participating in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Support the education and development of junior staff members, promoting knowledge sharing and mentorship across the team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a hospital setting.
  • Medical/surgical background preferred, with a strong understanding of telemetry principles and practices.
  • BSN or equivalent degree; BLS certification a plus.
