The Role

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to maintain paint finishes in our physical environment, ensuring a suitable space for patient care and treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair minor wall and ceiling damage under direct supervision.
  • Work with project teams to provide a safe campus environment.
  • Apply paints according to specifications on all UofL Health campuses.
  • Foster collaboration with Infection Prevention to follow ICRA guidelines.
  • Contribute to building renovation and improvement designs with facility leadership.

Additional Functions:

  • Maintain equipment using data-driven work order management systems.
  • Manage parts, materials, and supplies for daily tasks.
  • Assist skilled workers and perform general maintenance as needed.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintain adherence to company policies and standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-5 years commercial painting experience required.
  • 5-10 years of commercial painting experience preferred.
  • A valid driver's license must be maintained.
  • Kentucky Society of Healthcare Engineers (KSHE) Safe Day One Training preferred.

Compensation:

This role offers an estimated annual salary range of $40,000-$60,000 based on experience and location.
