Job SummaryWe are seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our team at The StateView Hotel. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling guest inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests with a friendly and sincere welcome, using positive and clear communication.
- Complete the registration process, inputting and retrieving information from our computer system, and promoting our hotel's marketing programs.
- Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization, handle cash, and balance the house bank.
- Promptly answer the telephone, input messages into the computer, and retrieve mail, small packages, and facsimiles for customers as requested.
- Remain calm and alert during emergency and/or heavy hotel activity, and resolve complications such as location changes or credit issues.
We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. No prior experience is required, but prior hospitality experience is preferred.
All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
CompensationThe compensation for this position is $15.00/Hr. - $16.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
