Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate company vehicle to deliver goods to customers
  • Load and unload merchandise at customer locations
  • Perform pre-trip safety checks on vehicle
  • Check load-related documentation for accuracy
  • Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
  • Secure loads in truck and/or trailer
  • Drive to and deliver customer orders according to a predetermined route
  • Interpret maps and utilize GPS systems to determine vehicle routes
  • Load and unload commercial and residential windows and doors at customer locations
  • Perform post-trip safety checks on vehicle
  • Preserve product quality and minimize damages during delivery
  • Write and report any damages or discrepancies in orders delivered
  • Perform daily inspections of company vehicle and general maintenance
  • Adhere to all company and state driver guidelines

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Posses a Valid Texas government issued Driver License, CDL is a plus but not required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum 1-year work-related driving experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Pass employment background check, MVR reports, and any other employment checks
  • Posses familiarity with local roadways and towns within the route areas
  • Good oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively and professionally with customers, co-workers, and management
  • Prioritize work assignments and manage time
  • Attention to Safety and detail is required
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English effectively
  • Bi-lingual is a major plus; preferred English/Spanish
