Retail Sales Associate Apparel Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our Apparel team at DICK'S Sporting Goods. As a Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers by providing personalized service, product knowledge, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and Engage Customers: Proactively approach customers to understand their needs and provide support throughout their shopping experience.
- Merchandising and Presentation: Uphold company standards by maintaining a visually appealing store environment, adhering to floor sets, signage requirements, and inventory presentation standards.
- Program Promotion: Promote company programs, such as customer loyalty initiatives, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for customers and teammates alike.
- Adhere to Company Policies: Maintain confidentiality of company information and adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
- Previous Retail Experience: Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 35 lbs. items repetitively, as well as work extended periods of time standing or walking.
- Decision-Making Abilities: Ability to make sound decisions and prioritize tasks to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.
