The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our Neurology team as a hospital provider. As a front-line provider, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with complex acute, critical, and chronic illnesses. Your expertise will play a vital role in creating personalized plans of care, ordering diagnostic studies, interpreting results, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities
Assess patients' complex conditions, identify urgent and emergent situations, and develop comprehensive plans of care.Perform therapeutic interventions, including administering medications, treatments, and procedures, to stabilize patients' health status.Analyze data, evaluate treatment options, and make informed decisions to optimize patient outcomes.Manage patient transitions between healthcare settings, ensuring seamless care coordination and continuity.Serve as an educational resource to patients, families, nursing staff, and providers, promoting health literacy and professional development.Participate in quality improvement initiatives, scholarly activities, and research projects to advance the field of pediatric healthcare.Requirements
To excel in this role, you must possess: A Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. Current certification as a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Licenses to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, upon hire. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in an inter-professional team setting. Proficiency in using electronic medical records, clinical communication systems, and other digital tools to access and manage patient information.

As a valued member of our team, you can expect: A competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience.
