Job Summary


The Diagnostic Radiologic CT Technologist Weo is responsible for providing high-quality patient care during Computed Tomography (CT) procedures. This position utilizes specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy, aiding radiologists in diagnosing various diseases and disorders.



Key Responsibilities

  • Operate head or body x-ray scanners to produce computer-generated cross-sectional images.
  • Perform routine and special CT exams, adhering to established protocols to minimize additional imaging and limit radiation dose.
  • Complete all exams and documentation in Computerized Health Information (CHL) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Educate and prepare patients for their examinations, enhancing patient understanding and cooperation.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safe practices, Just Culture, and As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principles.


Requirements

Required:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging, or related educational program
  • Arrt: RT(R)(CT), RT(N)(CT), Nmtcb: CNMT, NMTCB(CT), BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
