The estimated hourly wage for this position is $15-$18 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Description

As an Autism Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting adults with autism and/or developmental or intellectual disabilities in their homes within the community.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized support and supervision to assigned individuals/groups while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
  • Implementing outcomes and objectives for specific individuals as outlined in individual support plans.
  • Collecting data, documenting outcome progress, and completing daily progress notes for the people you are supporting.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with individuals, families, community members, and other staff.
  • Representing Judevine in a professional manner, including while in the community and/or interacting with members of the community.
  • Providing kind and patient support to help individuals live their best lives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Experience working with individuals who have developmental disorders or delays (not required).
  • Age 18 or older and a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license (Class E license required within 60 days of hire).
  • Ability to problem solve and think quickly in crisis situations.
