**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Microbiology Laboratory Director to oversee the daily operations of our Clinical Laboratory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing staff performing testing and reporting results, maintaining policies and procedures, and ensuring quality control practices in the laboratory.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain high-quality laboratory records and reports.
  • Oversee the performance of high-complexity testing.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Laboratory, Pathologist, and laboratory personnel to ensure smooth operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance within the laboratory.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Physical Sciences.
  • MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification.
  • National MT Certification.
  • At least five years of experience as a Medical Technologist and five years of experience as a Microbiology Technologist.

**Estimated Salary:** $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
