About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Operating Room team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our experienced surgeons and anesthesiologists.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify potential complications and develop strategies for prevention
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required
- BSN degree or higher required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Operating Room nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
