We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to expand their expertise and work with a dynamic team.
Job SummaryThis position requires a certified Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist physicians with minimally invasive procedures, operate fluoroscopic equipment, and ensure patient safety during imaging processes. As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for preparing patients, monitoring them during procedures, and reporting any abnormalities.
- Assist physicians with image-guided procedures, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Operate fluoroscopic equipment, maintaining optimal performance and adhering to radiation protection standards.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and providing reassurance as needed.
- Monitor patients during all procedures, reporting any complications or concerns.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting.
- ARRT (R) National Certification and state-specific licensing when required.
- BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (VI) certifications.
- Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.
