About the Role

Novalink Solutions LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Life Skills Transition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in facilitating the transition of youth back into their communities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a life skills curriculum titled Next Steps to support the successful reintegration of youth.
  • Utilize the Transition Coordinator Handbook to standardize transition practices across all facilities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of five transition consultations completed by students under the guidance of assigned teachers.
  • Participate in weekly Administrative Release Committees (ARC) in each facility to confirm and reinforce student reentry plans.
  • Conduct follow-up phone calls with released youth at 1, 3, 6, 9, and 12 months to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Promote Novalink Solutions LLC at various conferences and meetings, representing our organization as a leader in transitional services.
  • Collaborate with state, county, and private agencies to provide re-entry services for youth transitioning back into the community.
  • Assist students in obtaining essential documentation, including social security cards, state identification, driver's licenses, birth certificates, and other required documents.
  • Support students in transitioning back to public schools and accessing employment, apprenticeship programs, and military service opportunities.

Requirements

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience working with training, coaching, or guiding youth.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and create initiatives that drive positive change.
  • Strong relationships-building skills, with experience partnering with organizations to leverage resources and services.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This salary range is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of expertise and responsibility associated with this role.
