As a Shipping Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work with a company that builds the physical infrastructure that powers, protects, and secures the world's digital technology. You will be responsible for ensuring the on-time shipment of orders within the ERP system, including loading and unloading trucks, processing small packages and freight, and keying or scanning shipping transactions into the manufacturing system.


**Essential Functions**

  • Loads and unloads trucks based on BOL information.
  • Processes small packages (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) as well as freight for palletized shipments.
  • Keys or scans shipping transactions into the manufacturing system.
  • Copies and distributes paperwork, as needed, including maintaining records and files in accordance with established procedures.
  • May manually handle, repack, or repalletize materials.
  • Always maintains a clean, organized work area and performs other tasks or projects assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

**Technical Competencies**

  • Must safely operate a forklift truck, pallet jack, parts counting scales, stretch wrapper, and other material handling devices.
  • Minimum of 3 years working in a Manufacturing/Order Picking or related environment.
  • Must be able to work in a team as well as independently and take initiative.


**Physical/Environmental Requirements**

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, carrying, stooping, and crouching.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
