Crisis Response and Forensic Team Lead

Lincoln County is seeking a highly skilled Crisis Response and Forensic Team Lead to oversee the delivery of Community Based Mobile Crisis Intervention Services (CBMCIS) and services to those individuals identified as our forensic population.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in psychology, sociology, counseling, or a related field, and at least two years of experience in mental health crisis or emergency services. Certification as a pre-commitment investigator and QMHP certification are also required.

The Crisis Response and Forensic Team Lead will be responsible for establishing and writing program policies and workflows, assuring program staff meet and maintain required training, and regularly connecting with system partners to identify program improvement or changes. They will also supervise the performance of all staff completing assessments of individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis, perform assessments, and provide services in the community and locations convenient to the individual and their family.

The successful candidate will have advanced level skills in psychotherapy and counseling techniques, the ability to apply these skills to treatment of individuals with severe mental health conditions, and the ability to develop therapeutic relationships with clients and their families. They will also be able to write clear and concise reports and client evaluations, comprehend and interpret laws, rules, and regulations, and develop and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and professionals in related disciplines.

This is a full-time position that requires occasional after-hours, weekends, and holidays. The physical demands of the job include the ability to exert very moderate physical effort in light work, typically involving some combination of stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight.
