Job Summary

CARTI seeks a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Director to lead our nursing team in delivering exceptional patient care and services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve nursing services, patient satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
  2. Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their growth and success.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of nursing services with other departments and stakeholders.
  4. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
  5. Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to inform nursing practice and policy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (MSN preferred) from an accredited institution.
  • Current RN licensure in Arkansas or a compact state.
  • Minimum 8 years of clinical experience as an RN, with 3 years of formal healthcare leadership experience.
  • Two years of oncology experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments, as well as the ability to apply and modify professional nursing principles to provide ongoing patient care.
