Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Tax Return Data Entry Specialist to join our team at the Arizona Official Website of State of Arizona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately entering tax return information into multiple systems, following standard operating procedures and customer-specific instructions for processing returns.

This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to quality assurance by reviewing completed production batches of new staff members and assist with training as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter tax return information into multiple systems
  • FOLLOW standard operating procedures and customer-specific instructions
  • Contribute to quality assurance by reviewing completed production batches
  • Assist with training new staff members

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong 10-key skills (15,000+ KPH, 60+ WPM)
  • Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Ability to work in a confidential manner and maintain site productivity and quality standards
  • Basic knowledge of all tax types and systems

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry, preferably in a tax-related field, is highly desirable. Additionally, experience with LEAN concepts, principles, and tools is preferred.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
