Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at SMS. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with small to medium-sized business owners in the Portland area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing for daily sales appointments and conducting face-to-face meetings with business owners to market and secure Business Analysts Survey Agreements
  • Directing sales efforts to achieve revenue growth and expanding our business development firm's presence in the market
  • Collaborating with the Sales Manager to review daily successes and challenges, and providing feedback on new business lead opportunities

Requirements:

  • At least three years of business ownership experience and/or three years of direct sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not necessary; we will consider the right experience over a degree
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
  • Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships, particularly with business owners, presidents, and CEOs
  • Good communicator with excellent listening skills and ability to uncover clients' pain points
  • Ability to begin work immediately

  • Commission-only position with residual income and daily cash bonuses; realistic first-year earnings of $100K-$110K
