The Commercial Construction Project Manager will oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and staying within budget. This role involves administrative direction of on-site Superintendents, investigating potential issues, and implementing corrective measures as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure necessary permits, licenses, and occupancy certificates.
  • Monitor and control construction progress, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts, including fee payments, rental equipment, income, and expenses.
  • Coordinate meetings with clients, Architects, and Engineers to discuss project procedures, progress, and scheduling.
  • Assist in preparing bid day information and author meeting minutes.
  • Schedule progress meetings with Trade Contractors and Construction Superintendents.
  • Secure scheduling for equipment, material, shop drawings, submittals, and deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction Technology, or related field.
  • 5-10+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on ground-up commercial projects.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
