At Martin's Famous Pastry Shoppe, we're committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety. As a Sanitation Laborer - Production Facility Maintenance Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our production facility is clean, safe, and ready for audit at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the food safe quality of our products by following standard operating procedures and exceeding industry and federal cleaning and sanitizing requirements.
  • Work diligently to unify the team through open communication channels with sanitation, production, and general maintenance.
  • Contribute to the culture by exceeding quality expectations through cleaning and sanitizing the interior and exterior of the production facility.
  • Rigorously follow the master cleaning schedule to prepare the plant for audit-ready status at all times.
  • Operate equipment such as pressure washers, rack washers, floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, and forklifts according to specifications.
  • Transport trash and waste to the tilt truck and disposal area.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; related experience in bakery or manufacturing industries preferred.
  • Experience with boom and scissor lifts an asset.

Working Conditions

While performing this job, you'll be required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and smell. You must walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. You'll frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
