Salary & BenefitsThe base salary for this role ranges from $143,100 to $264,200, depending on your skills, qualifications, and location. Job DescriptionWe're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Display Technology Innovator to join our team. As a key member of our display panel development team, you'll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to shape the display technologies that go into Apple products. Your expertise will help us develop new display panel technologies, define their requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to establish their roadmap.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyze trade-offs of state-of-the-art panel designs, architectures, and related processes
- Define panel technology development scope, requirements, and roadmap
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to establish panel requirements
- Define panel electrical and optical architectures that enable optimal display performance
- Conduct failure analysis and define corrective action DOEs
Requirements:
- BS degree and minimum 3 years relevant industry experience
- Experience in the development of active matrix displays or similar technologies
- Knowledge of display technologies, including backplane and front-plane interdependencies
- Background in display panel technology development and integration
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of flat panel display technologies, panel design, fabrication processes, device physics, and optoelectronics
- Experience in panel testing, validation, failure analysis, and defining corrective DOEs
- Proficiency in data analysis using coding languages such as Python or Matlab
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills
