- Collect and record patient care data in compliance with regulatory agencies and third-party payers, showcasing your understanding of reimbursement systems and their impact on patient care.
- Prepare daily billing and adhere to department guidelines for productivity.
- Conduct thorough evaluations, selecting and administering relevant tests and measures to inform treatment plans.
- Synthesize evaluation results to formulate diagnoses, goals, prognosis, and plans of care, ensuring collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and support systems.
- Establish and modify treatment plans based on evaluation results, goals, and best practices, addressing patient needs and re-assessing progress regularly.
- Identify opportunities for consultations or referrals to other healthcare professionals or services, initiating discharge plans and providing education/training to patients and support systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate preferred.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in.
- Completed state-regulated CEU requirements in the appropriate state (NY, NJ).
