About the Role:

The PresenTense Group is seeking a highly motivated and organized professional to serve as the New York Fellowship Coordinator. This is a part-time, 20 hour per week position that will play a critical role in implementing the PresenTense NYC Fellowship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the admissions process for PresenTense NYC Fellows, including launching the application, recruiting applicants, and administering the selection process in conjunction with local volunteers and PresenTense staff.
  • Recruit, manage, and communicate regularly with local volunteers, including a steering committee, topical speakers, and mentors and coaches working directly with fellows.
  • Supervise and communicate regularly with fellows, providing hands-on support to them in developing their ventures and connecting to the local Jewish community.
  • Execute fellowship programming, including coordinating fellow seminars, committee meetings, fellow gatherings, roundtable speakers series, and the culminating Launch Night event for fellows.
  • Oversee and maintain the program budget.
  • Build relationships and network with participants in the program and the larger Jewish and social innovation networks throughout NYC as an ambassador.
  • Be a part of our network of PresenTense coordinators in cities throughout the U.S. and the globe.
  • Execute program evaluation process.

Requirements:

  • Program management experience.
  • Event coordination and planning skills.
  • Volunteer management experience.
  • Knowledge of the Jewish communal and/or social innovation space.
  • Marketing, design, and social media skills are a plus.
