We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Specialist to join our team at Futran Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure, including physical media activities, inventory management, and IT equipment installation and removal. This is a key role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Physical Media Activities:
    • Maintain and manage physical media, including mounting and dismounting media, filing and cataloging media, and performing shipping and receiving activities.
    • Ensure accurate tracking and labeling of media and related equipment.
    • Perform daily tasks such as initializing and testing media and equipment.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Track and maintain inventory levels of IT equipment, including servers, network switches, storage devices, and other critical infrastructure components.
    • Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records and identify any discrepancies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new equipment and infrastructure.
  • IT Equipment Installation and Removal:
    • Install and remove cabinets, racks, and other equipment in the data center.
    • Perform cabling and connectivity work to ensure reliable infrastructure operations.
    • Dispose of packing materials and waste responsibly.
    Requirements:
    • Technical Skills:
      • Proficiency in operating systems, hardware, and software configurations.
      • Knowledge of data center infrastructure, network protocols, and telecommunications platforms.
      • Familiarity with ITIL and change management processes.
    • Soft Skills:
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
      • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    Benefits:
    • Competitive Salary: ₹850,000 per annum
    • Overtime Pay: ₹500 per hour (for overtime worked beyond 8 hours)
    • Meal Allowance: ₹1,000 per month
    • Transportation Allowance: ₹5,000 per month
