Job Overview

Rehabilitation Associates is seeking an experienced advanced practice provider to join our team in a skilled rehabilitation and inpatient rehabilitation facility setting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing care to the geriatric population, ideally with a background in physiatry, internal medicine, orthopedics, sports medicine, or neurology.

Salary Range:

We offer a highly competitive salary of $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year, based on a 4 or 5-day work week at 6 to 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

The APP will be responsible for leading our physiatry consultation service, rounding on patients undergoing rehabilitation, daily documentation, and co-management of medical barriers to progress. They will work closely with the primary medical team and meet with the therapy team (OT, PT, and SLP) to discuss and document patient functional progress.

The APP will also participate in weekly interdisciplinary team meetings to address barriers to discharge and current progress.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in an acute, subacute, or rehabilitation setting (Preferred)
  • Active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License (Required)
